Our Mission

Responsible and ethical journalism drives The Viking Saga, a student-led publication in which East Lyme High School’s student population is fully represented. We prioritize brainstorming and creating articles that will leave a positive impact among EL. Articles will present balances, reliable, and thorough information, highlighting issues, achievements, and stories within EL. We passionately encourage our readership to engage in each piece with open-mindedness, allowing themselves to create their own thoughts and engage in meaningful conversation and discourse. We deeply value any feedback, ideas, and the plurality of opinions among students and readers as they shape the future of our work.
