Jen Wallace, Sports Editor

Hi everyone, I’m going to be taking on the role of Sports Editor for the ‘23-’24 school year! Other than writing, I enjoy spending time with the people I care about, playing softball, and listening to Taylor Swift on repeat. I believe that everyone deserves empathy and understanding from others as well as respect; I want the writing in the sports section to reflect that. My goal for the sports section this year is to highlight the students who excel but also show the other side of sports: the struggles on the road to success. I will put 100 percent effort into the sports section and make sure that all of the pieces are delivered with passion and in a way that is attractive. I want student input and ideas from more people than just those in the Saga room; if you have any ideas for stories or students who deserve a shoutout please contact me through my email, [email protected]

Happy reading!
