Michael Minevich commits to USM

As senior Michael Minevich’s final season on the ELHS wrestling team has come to a close, Minevich plans to take to the mats at the University of Southern Maine.
“I was really happy about committing to Southern Maine,” Minevich said. “It was the only school I applied to because I knew I was going to get in.”
The school wrestling team, the Southern Maine Huskies, is dominant throughout New England’s Division III, holding a strong record of 10-5. Minevich looks forward to geling with the team, as he loved the college from his first visit.
“I went on a tour of the campus and loved everything about it; The coaches were kind and I was able to tour the campus with the captains of the wrestling team. I am excited to share my future with them,” Minevich said.
