Girls’ Crew
“As a team, as it is toward the beginning of the season, we are training new coxswains and rowers and are prepping for our 2k test to see how fast we can row in season. We will go to the weight room to avoid being out on the water when it is too cold.
It can be difficult to practice early in the season when it is cold and rainy. The past few years, we have placed every boat in our state championships, so we hope to do the same and come out and win. I hope to keep preparing for New Englands to place well. The team is looking forward to warmer weather, so that we can be on the water as much as possible.” -senior Skylar Skapin

Boys’ Crew
“This season, we are down on numbers because we lost a good amount of our strong seniors from last year. We have a strong freshman class filling in, which will be important to help us lead our team to ECCs and States this year. This season, we want to have a great season overall, practicing as much as we can out on the water and in the weight room. In addition, as a team, we really just want to have fun with some of the new guys and show them what high
school crew is all about. We are really looking forward to this season, as we are hoping to place top three in the States
this year.” -senior Justin Northcott
